One of our most versatile pieces, the Performance Winter Jacket, can be a single cold-weather riding staple or part of a layered system during the harshest of winter days.
The jacket keeps the cold at bay while combating overheating with breathable fabrics and a full-length, two-way zipper. Three storage pockets, a hidden waterproof zippered pocket, and an extended lower flap provide added protection in wet conditions.

A really great piece for fall and winter. The fit is loose enough that I can comfortably layer but not so loose I feel like I’m wearing a trash bag. Comfortable in a pretty wide range of temperatures too.

I really like this jacket. It fits really well and is perfect for fall cyclocross conditions. This is my go to clothing choice when warming up and cooling down on cyclocross race day. It keeps the wind off me and warm but not hot for course inspection and riding around post race.

How's the fit? A Little Large: Loose, but wouldn't change size.

Really impressed with the weather proofing on the jacket. Soft wrist cuffs fit well under gloves and keep the nasty out. The jacket is built with a bit of room for extra layers underneath when it’s cold out, so I’d say it is true to size.

This jacket is a staple of winter riding. It comes out when it’s 40 degrees Fahrenheit outside and stays out down to as cold as I can stand.
The material is windproof and lightly insulated. The collar is appropriately high. The fleece side panels and underarm panels work both for a little stretch and a fair amount of breathability, allowing for some of your sweat vapor to escape.
The other thing is that this jacket is super durable. (don’t tell Champ-Sys this, we don’t want them changing it). It lasts for years of daily winter riding. Also functions as warm-up jacket for cold races, be they cross or the road.
The one recommendation is to think about sizing up. I wear a small jersey most of the time, and it fits pretty close. A small jacket didn’t allow for more than one layer to fit underneath comfortably. I went with a medium and I can get four layers underneath for the really cold days.
