Champion System and Monster Nation Join Forces in 2010!

(Chicago, IL) Custom motorsports apparel manufacturer Champion System, and professional monster truck series Monster Nation have announced their partnership for the 2010 season, making Champion System the “Official Uniform of Monster Nation”.

“We are absolutely thrilled to have Champion System aboard as our official uniform supplier for our Monster Nation 2010 Pedal To The Metal tour,” said Monster Nation Sponsorship Coordinator Kyle Doyle. “The core values of the Monster Nation tour are quality, professionalism, and affordability. It is no coincidence that our values align perfectly with those of Champion System.” He added that “we strive for a high-level of professionalism with our events, from the venues we choose to the monster trucks and FMX riders that compete at the events to the uniforms of our staff. Eric Cody, Motorsports Division Director for Champion System was equally ecstatic. “Since first taking the world by storm in the 80’s, the monster truck industry’s popularity has continued to soar each and every year. We realized that we [Champion System] needed to get involved with a quality operation in order to introduce ourselves to the industry, and with the Monster Nation series I feel we’ve found that outlet.” Cody went on to explain that “the Monster Nation crew has quickly established themselves as consummate professionals in their industry, and by partnering with Champion System for their uniform needs, I think they’ll be raising the bar even higher, and we are proud to be right there with them.”

“Champion System has just been fantastic to work with,” said Monster Nation Event Coordinator Brian Manson. “Champion System’s downloadable shirt templates made it easy for myself and the staff to lay out a design that we could all agree on. The Monster Nation 2010 Pedal To The Metal tour kicks off January 8^th and 9^th at the Century Tel Arena in Bossier City, LA (Shreveport). Nine individual events make up the schedule that also includes stops in N. Charleston, SC; South Haven, MS (Memphis); and Beaumont, TX. The events appeal to fans of all ages, and feature three forms of monster truck competition, freestyle motocross, and more. Trucks scheduled to be competing on the tour include the legendary BIGFOOT, Tailgator, and Equalizer among others. Street Drag Racing Series

True Street Drag Racing, Inc (TSDR) staff and officials will be sporting a professional look this season after signing an agreement with the New York-based Champion System to become the Official Uniform Provider for the 2010 TSDR series. TSDR staff and officials will proudly wear these uniforms provided by Champion System to showcase their 2010 sponsors such as: Mickey Thompson, Auto Meter, CFM Performance, BigStuff3, Miletti Motorsports, Johler Demolition to name a few (and of course Champion System).

True Street Drag Racing, Inc. is quickly becoming the largest quarter-mile heads-up drag racing series in the Midwest. TSDR will host nine quarter-mile heads-up events that will take place at these great facilities: Great Lakes Dragaway (Union Grove, WI), Cordova Dragway Park (Cordova, IL), Cedar Falls Raceway (Cedar Falls, IA), and US131 Motorsports Park (Martin, MI).

National Guard ADRL Getting Dressed with Champion System!

National Guard American Drag Racing League (ADRL) officials will be sporting a new look in 2010, signing a multi-year agreement making Champion System the official uniform provider for the growing eighth-mile drag racing series.

ADRL CEO Kenny Nowling declared "Just like our professional race team members, it's important for ADRL staff and officials to always look their best at our national events. After carefully wighing our options, it was clear that Champion System could best create and deliver the look we were after for next year's tour."

Champion System Is Official Uniform Provider of Champion Racing Association

Officials from Champion System and Champion Racing Association have announced that Champion System has agreed to become the Official Uniform Provider of Champion Racing Association for the upcoming 2009 race season. Champion System will provide uniform shirts for all the Champion Racing Association officials for all five series they sanction including the CRA Super Series, CRA Super Series South, Howe Late Model Sportsman Series, CRA Street Stocks and Vores Welding & Steel CRA FWD Compacts.

Champion System to Become Official Uniform Supplier to IHRA

Champion System, the New York-based full service custom apparel and accessory manufacturer, has entered into an agreement with the International Hot Rod Association to become the sanctioning body’s “Official Uniform Supplier.” The company has also acquired title sponsorship rights to IHRA’s seven-event 2009 Sportsman Nationals schedule.

“This is a perfect fit for us and an ideal situation for Champion System,” IHRA director of contingency and inside sales Kurt Oberholtzer said. “They have a product with outstanding quality that is very affordable, something our race teams will be able to take advantage of. Plus, they are an active company with aggressive leadership who wanted to branch out from their traditional role in cycling to brand their company in motor sports applications. We’re pleased they chose IHRA as their platform to do this.”

Champion System president Scott Kaylin thinks his company will blend in with IHRA immediately.

“IHRA wants to have a professional image as a company and we’re all about that,” Kaylin said. “This partnership is a very good fit.”

Kaylin has specific reasons he wanted to work with IHRA, citing Champion System’s background and the company’s roots.

“We started our business in cycling so we’re new to motor sports, but they are very similar in that both cycling and motor sports, especially drag racing, are sponsor-driven,” he said. “It’s a unique challenge to incorporate multiple sponsors into a uniform, but this is a challenge we have been meeting for a long time with our cycling background. Our transition into drag racing should be relatively seamless. This is a perfect fit for us.”

Champion System will provide IHRA officials with the uniforms they will be wearing at all 2009 Nitro Jam national events, Summit Racing Equipment Pro-Am events and all Champion System Sportsman Nationals presented by VP Racing Fuels events. The company will also be looking to build a client base consisting of IHRA competitors…particularly at the sportsman level.

“We wanted to get involved with IHRA because of their dedication and attention to the sportsman drag racer,” Kaylin said. “Because of our business model and experience we will be able to offer affordable garments and uniforms to the sportsman and professional teams. We want to make the sportsman racers look and feel like professionals when it comes to what they wear in competition.”

Champion System Is Official Uniform Supplier to Don Schumacher Racing

Champion System, a company specializing in the production of high-quality custom technical clothing, has signed a multi-year agreement with Don Schumacher Racing to be the official team uniform supplier, beginning with the 2009 NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series season.

Based in New York City, Champion System was founded by avid sports enthusiasts who have combined their strong 20-year knowledge of the apparel business with their love of all sports. With its roots based in cycling, Champion System is expanding to include different forms of motorsports.

Champion System provides a new approach to the custom technical clothing business. By allowing sports teams, retailers and individuals to order a full line of custom uniforms with unlimited colors and low minimums, it has set a new standard in the custom technical clothing business.

Along with supplying DSR with state-of-the-art uniforms, Champion System's logo will appear on all DSR race vehicles, transporters, technical trailers and hospitality trailers.
